The band “Karavan” was founded in 2002 in Minsk (Belarus). It is one of the brightest representatives of the grunge scene of Belarus. Having taken some features from the most influencial music trends of the 90s, the band transforms and turns them into modern rock being very close to what we call the new alternative of today.
The bands name bears the meaning of travelling, searching for freedom of self-expression and spiritual values.
By the present moment Karavan has recorded 5 EPs and one Long Play “Regeneration”, performed giggs in Belarus, Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Germany, Netherlands and Baltic Countries as well as participated in various music festivals and contests.
The band plans to release their second album in may of 2013.
