Salt Wound, a Riga-based trio (sometimes quartet) began in 2015 out of the Baltic city's thriving underground scene of sonic art and noise rock. The band, formed from other solo and group projects, began writing songs out of a passion of raw energy.
Lee; the guitarist, vocalist and from UK began writing songs that provoked an emotional dialogue within himself with a project called Goodbuypolarbare and joined noise-rock band, Chomsky Chess Club. During this time, Pavel Borisov; bassist and fresh to the Baltics having lived as a musician in both Moscow and London, started an underground music blog surrounding the scene in Riga called "Deaf Riga".
With the addition of Adrians Grīns; drummer in Chomsky Chess Club, the like-minded friends got together to work on new music that would bring together elements of fuzz, feedback and noise-orientated art punk that still allowed room for live experimentation.
No two performances are ever the same.
